District Early Intervention Centre

National Health Mission, under Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram, DEIC i.e District Early Intervention Centre has been established at Government Daga Hospital as a Central referral Centre for all the referrals at the District level.

National Health Mission, under Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram, DEIC i.e District Early Intervention Centre has been established at Government Daga Hospital as a Central referral Centre for all the referrals at the District level. All the referrals from the district i.e. from RBSK Mobile health teams referral camps, paediatric OPD, IPD, SNCU, self referral are being referred to DEIC Centre, within the age group 0 to 18 years( Preferably 0 to 6 years)

  • Audiometry and Speech Therapy: Audiologist Cum Speech Therapist
  • Dental : Dentist & Dental Technician

  • Psychological Therapy: Clinical Psychologist
  • Ophthalmology: Optometrist
  • Lab area: Lab Technician
  • Special Education: Special Educator cum Early
    Interventionist

  • Treatment management related to Motor Delay ( physiotherapy ), Language delay( Speech therapy), cognitive delay etc.

  • Providing treatment/investigation facilities to children with deafness, Audiometry, Tympanometry etc.
  • Psychological services such as IQ, DQ, and SQ
  • Admission of Children with Anaemia, Club foot, Developmental Dysplasia etc. at Hospital for further management
  • Referral services to children with congenital anomalies such as ROP, Congenital Cataract, CHD etc. at a tertiary centre
  • Referral services to Children requiring Surgical intervention such as Cleft lip & Palate, Neural tube defect, etc. to a tertiary centre

  • Social and Psychosocial support
  • Auxiliary services: Disability certificate and coordination with other departments
